Australian Pacific Touring is a family-owned company that started in 1927; it's now in its 3rd generation of the family. It has a reputation for luxury coaches, excellent service, well crafted itineraries and carefully chosenaccommodation and activities. It offers three levels of escorted coach tours, small group touring, and independent touring in Australia and New Zealand, and other countries as well.

When you're with a group of people for a week or more, the skills of the staff are or prime importance in making your journey a special event to be remembered. As the number one tour operator in Australia and New Zealand, the company is committed to the continuation of its role as a fully integrated travel business by owning and operating its touring and cruising operations. Naturally coaches are luxuriously equipped and fitted, with on-board toilet, water, and space for personal items. Many tours, although in full size coaches, are limited to just 30 guests.

On Premium Plus Fully Escorted tours your vacation begins when you APT tour director meets you at the airport when you arrive. On all Premium escorted tours optional sightseeing opportunities provide you with the flexibility to tailor a holiday to your individual interests. Premium accommodation is used, usually 4.5 star and above, and special dinners and other meals are often provided in addition to the usual, excellent meals. Some tours have a "dine-about" option on some days, where you can choose your own restaurant rather than dine with the group. Similarly some tours have optional included tours, where you can choose the one you prefer at no additional cost. Best of all although full size coaches are used, there are just a maximum of 30 guests per departure, meaning a smaller group throughout, and more room to stretch out on your luxury coach.


APT offers tours that combine both Australia and New Zealand, up to 23 days in length. Seamless connections are made between destinations, and on escorted tours you are never by yourselves (except on the plane itself between major destinations). The entire range of APT tours can be found here.



APT's Connections Adventures and Connections Safaris are tours for 18 to 36 year olds, which naturally have an emphasis on activities, accommodation and touring that suits younger and more active travelers. These tours may include camping in the outback (as well as hotels), special activities and opportunities to meet people with an adventurous spirit.
